Drawing Miles Morales | Spider-Man at Paint the Port Excelsior

Before I headed into Chalkfest at Maple Grove, I spent the day earlier at Paint the Port in Excelsior, Minnesota.

The space was 5'x5' and I finished in about 3 hours.

Also, this is 100% sidewalk chalk. There were no chalk pastels or tempera paint allowed for this event.

I love sidewalk chalk, but it can be more difficult to work with on more detailed pieces and larger pieces. The color isn't as vibrant as chalk pastels and you go through much more quickly. Despite those challenges, I'm really happy with how this turned out.
