Another pair of custom kicks officially handed off! These Twin Peaks-themed Nike AF1s are now with their new owner and I’m so excited to share the process behind them. This was a special project for me, as it was the first time I’ve customized shoes for something I wasn’t familiar with beforehand.
To make sure I captured the essence of Twin Peaks, I spent time with my client to understand what the show meant to him, what specific elements he wanted to see, and what was most important. Then, I dove into researching the show’s history, storyline, and symbolism to get a better sense of its iconic imagery. I have to say, if you’re looking for something new to watch, Twin Peaks is an incredible, deep dive into symbolism and storytelling.
