Children’s Minnesota Centennial Community Sidewalk Mural: A Community Celebration

That’s a wrap on the Children’s Minnesota Centennial Sidewalk Mural, and I couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of such a meaningful project.

Working with Peter, Amy, the Youth Advisory Council, and the incredible team at Children’s Minnesota was an absolute joy. This paint-by-number community sidewalk mural was a celebration of 100 years of care and compassion, and it was amazing to see the mural come to life with the help of volunteers, employees, past and current patients, neighbors, and more from the community.

The Vision: We wanted to create something that everyone could contribute to—no matter their age, ability, or skill level. A massive paint-by-number mural was the perfect way to achieve this. It allowed everyone to take part in the celebration and add their own touch to the mural. By the end of the day, it was filled with color!

The project was even featured on several local news stations.

Thank you to everyone at Children’s Minnesota, especially the Youth Advisory Council, for helping bring this project to life. I’m so grateful to have been part of something so special and meaningful. 💙💜
